About

A creator, builder, educator, and entrepreneur.

My career spans dance, entertainment, education, filmmaking, design, business ownership, and technology. The thread through all of it: connecting creativity with technology, and building tools, experiences, and spaces that help other people create.

01Creative beginnings

Movement first.

Dance came first — choreography, performance, and the discipline of teaching other people to move. Alongside it, I started picking up cameras, learning to shoot and edit, and developing an eye for visual production.

In 2010, while attending the University of New Haven, I founded Monsoon Dance Crew. It was an early lesson in building something from nothing and leading a group of creative people toward a shared goal.

02Building a career

Teaching, choreographing, filming, editing.

Over the following years I taught hundreds of dance classes and choreographed for dancers, performances, showcases, events, and creative productions. I founded and direct DNA and DNA Jr, my dance performance and training programs, and have taught as part of Yale University's Everybody Dances programming through the Schwarzman Center.

At the same time I was filming and editing — thousands of dance class videos, plus music videos, dance films, promotional content, event coverage, and commercial media. Fifteen-plus years of production work shaped how I think about storytelling in every medium.

03Entrepreneurship

Building the rooms where it happens.

Lovelace Productions LLC became the home for my production and creative-services work. Then I founded The Lab Creative Studio in Cheshire, Connecticut — a creative dance studio offering education, choreography, training, and a community for dancers of different experience levels. I built its brand, teach and choreograph there, direct the creative programming, and run the business.

04Technology and innovation

If the tool doesn't exist, build it.

I taught myself software development to solve problems I kept running into as a creator and educator. That led to ChoreoPocket — a choreography and dance-teaching platform I founded, designed, and developed, launched on iOS — as well as The Lab App, Slide & Sync for macOS, and HeadDirector.

I don't just conceptualize products. I build them.

05My approach

Creativity, technical skill, storytelling, and business — together.

My disciplines aren't separate careers. Choreography taught me structure and timing; filmmaking taught me how to frame an idea; design taught me clarity; running businesses taught me what actually ships. Software is where all of it meets.

Whatever the medium, the goal is the same: make the idea real, make it good, and make it useful to the people it's for.
